Hairy suede fabric takes over panels at the forefoot and heel, leaving mid-foot underlays to revel in a contrasting nylon material. In addition to varying in textures, the Air Force 1‘s construction also differs in colors, with shades of grey clashing with hits of light and cool blue. The disparate arrangement extends itself onto the sole unit, which introduces both new hues and patterns: the midsole opts for a “dirty” look that sits right below neon green stitching, while designed-for-basketball-tread favors a rich purple makeup.
